IS THIS PILATES?
Unlike a reformer Pilates class, you will spend little to no time resting on your back while taking a Lagree Megaformer class. As a result, the Megaformer is designed much differently than a traditional reformer. While there are influences, the Megaformer and class structure provide an intensity and cardiovascular elements that cannot be achieved with traditional Pilates. With the Lagree Method, you get the intensity of weight training/circuit training plus the therapeutic benefits of Pilates all in one.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE BEFORE CLASS?
New clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so you can receive an introduction to our studio space, our instructor, and most importantly an overview of the machine and the workout. We want to ensure your safety and understanding of the equipment. We do ask new clients to reschedule if they do not arrive in time for an introduction.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Plan to wear form fitting, breathable workout clothes. We DO require clients to wear grip socks on our machines. Socks are available for purchase in the studio.
HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO DO MEGAFORMER KAUAI?
Clients must be 16 years or older. Clients between 16 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
IS THERE A WAITLIST FOR FULL CLASSES?
Yes, registering for the waitlist is just like registering for a class. When scheduling, choose “Yes, Add me to the Waitlist”. You will be notified via text and email if you have been moved from the waitlist and added to a class. If your plans change, please remove yourself from the waitlist.

All classes require a 10 hour cancellation notice, so if you’re added to a class from the waitlist at the last minute, be aware that the cancellation policy still applies. See ‘Policies’ page for more details.
CAN I DO THE WORKOUT IF I’M PREGNANT?
Exercise during pregnancy is generally safe and desirable. Lagree is slow paced and low impact making it a complimentary workout to women during pregnancy. All our instructors are trained to help guide our future mothers through a safe and effective workout so please let us know before class and we can advise you of the modifications. It is advisable that regardless of pre-pregnancy fitness level, you should seek clearance from your physician before embarking on any new exercise regime during pregnancy.
CAN I DO THE WORKOUT IF I HAVE INJURIES OR HEALTH CONDITIONS?
We encourage you to consult a trained physician for clearance to attend class. There are over 180 lagree moves and our trained instructors can always tailor the workout to meet your needs. Please let the instructor know of any ailments so they can offer modifications.
HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK SHOULD I ATTEND CLASS?
We recommend that clients come 3-4 times a week to start seeing immediate results in strength and body sculpting. Our workout is designed to work your body to muscle failure so we strongly encourage recovery time. Recovery time is dependent on your own personal fitness level but we recommend clients take at least two days off a week for muscles to rebuild.
